Jarvale Construction is a highly experienced construction company with over 50 years of expertise delivering a wide range of specialist and bespoke construction projects. Our proven expertise covers design, planning, project management, property development, construction services and building conservation. We work for both the private and the public sectors including projects for healthcare (NHS Foundation Trusts), education, commerce and industrial.
Jarvale is still a family run business, formed in 1973 by Albert Lee and operated by Dennis and Alan Lee from 1988 to 2006. Jarvale is now managed by Nick and Tony Lee, both having over 20 years working experience at Jarvale.
Our principles and diligence have enabled us to forge close, long term working relationships with our clients over many years, demonstrated in our construction project portfolio.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality, best value construction contracts for all our clients, on time and on budget, while endeavouring to create local employment opportunities as well as using local suppliers and resources whenever possible. We invest in our future by constantly providing personnel training in all aspects of our business, both on and off site.
To ensure that we continue to deliver the best quality and value we have invested heavily in making sure that all our staff are trained to the highest standards, in terms of both their ability to carry-out quality workmanship and their understanding of the need for a safe and secure working environment for both Jarvale and its customers. We are registered with CHAS, Constructionline, our operatives hold CSCS cards and we are currently working towards ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 Certification.
Jarvale as a company is also continuously developing and adapting to future requirements and has a pro-active approach to compliance regulations, advanced technologies, safety, ecology and customer expectations.
Our experience, ability, attitude and ethos are unrivalled by similar design and build construction companies. At Jarvale we understand that projects often require adaptable contractors who can offer advice, ideas and sound solutions to any potential problems. Our expert and dedicated staff understand that a thoughtful and pragmatic approach can save time, costs and effort, and this ethos we carry with us in everything we do.
Safety and occupational health is paramount to Jarvale Construction. We regularly update our policies, procedures and monitoring techniques, and carry out regular auditing, which we believe is key to maintaining the highest standards in safety. We are registered with CHAS, Construction Line, hold a CSCS Gold Certificate and have ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Certifications.
At Jarvale we operate a ‘safety first’ culture, providing regular training to all our staff and sub-contract partners. Sites are audited by our Health & Safety manager, who provides expert advice to ensure a safe working environment for our staff, partners and members of the public. Directors also undertake regular impromptu safety visits to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Governance of Health and Safety is the responsibility of our Director, Tony Lee, who endorses our annual Safety Policy Statement. This policy clearly defines the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in the business and sets out the high standards we expect from all of our operations.
Our local knowledge and workforce together with our perfectly situated offices at the Navigation Way development has given us an ideal opportunity to develop meaningful and long standing relationships with local companies, suppliers and the community as a whole.
We understand that for clients, companies and communities, it is both practical and ecologically sound to source materials and supplies locally. We are committed to providing the highest quality, best value building contracts for all our clients, and continually endeavour to draw on local suppliers and resources, creating jobs and opportunities to enable us to deliver with pride our projects on time and within budget.
We have developed a significant network of local suppliers and companies which work in harmony with us to both enhance the clients project experience, and benefit our community and surrounding areas.
Our aim at Jarvale is that every development is environmentally sustainable, from the design and build right through to the end user stages. We believe that what we do and how we live now, affects our future generation’s potential to enjoy a similar quality of life.
We aim to achieve this through careful planning and design, incorporating suitable methods of construction, selection of materials and technologies to ensure environmental sustainability – with the inclusion of features such as better recycling facilities and measures to protect wildlife and the environment.
We fully realise our impacts on the environment and our responsibility to reduce the production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to global climate change. We understand that this is directly affected through our supply chain, and how we manage the whole life cycle of each development.
We minimise the impacts on the environment such as noise, vibration and pollution by replacing old equipment with better designed alternatives, and we have reduced travel distances for our general business and deliveries through training and employing local staff and suppliers.
